All our radiation shielding products are designed to suit the needs of our customers and RPA (Radiation Protection Advisers) requirements with a cost efficient, effective solution of providing an x-ray shield in a number of methods to protect staff and patients within a medical hospital, dentist or veterinary x-ray facility.

Raybloc are strong believers in listening to our customers feedback to meet their needs.  Below is a range of our products that we have adapted over many years of experience through customer feedback to now offer multiple options for different applications at the highest quality and a delivery time to suit you.

Radiation Protective Door sets -
X-ray protective door sets are purpose built by Raybloc to suit any size of structural opening and to suit any medical environment. Door sets are specialist manufactured to our customer requirements and pre-hung in our own workshops to insure ease of installation by our clients on site.

All our double doorsets are manufactured with a leaded rebate joining system where the two door leaves meet, which is unique to Raybloc at no extra charge.  Basic meeting stiles are also available.

Lead doors are available in; paint grade, real wood veneer or plastic laminate  finish, all lipped in hardwood showing no exposed lead. Frames are manufactured from hardwood with a lead core for maximum x-ray protection, including Walnut, Koto, Ash, Mahogany, Oak, Beech, Sapele or Maple.

Lead x-ray vision panels are available in doors from small port holes, to large viewing ares, to Vistamatic©’s.  Available double glazed with safety or fire glass, to suit building specifications.

<New 2012> Hygiene PVC X-ray Doorsets. Radiation shielding doors and frames are now available in a fully encapsulated PVC finish for added crash resistance and hygiene factors (available in a range of colours and finishes). PVC edge protection is also available separately for protecting along door edges on doors with other finishes. More>

X-ray Shielding Screens -
X-ray protective screens are manufactured from solid sheet material sandwiching a lead core to a specified thickness and faced with a plastic laminate to both sides. Framed in durable “U” shaped satin anodized aluminium unique to Raybloc.  Suitable for providing a radiation shielding partition or control station with in an x-ray environment. More>

X-ray Shielding Mobile Screens -

Mobile radiation protective screens are manufactured from solid sheet material sandwiching a lead core to a specified thickness and faced with a plastic laminate to both sides.  Framed with a durable satin anodized aluminum surround and glazing system suitable for an x-ray examination rooms in hospitals, dentists, vets etc. More>

Lead Lined Materials (Plaster boards, Plywood, MDF)  -
A range of High pressure lead bonded building materials for lead lining rooms, including 12.5mm lead backed Plasterboard, lead backed Plywood and lead backed MDF.  Commonly used to radiation shield Walls, Floors, Ceilings, Windows and Doors. More>

Radiation Lead Shielding Glass -
Raybloc x-ray protection are a major supplier of radiation shielding lead glass across the UK. X-ray shielding glass can be supplied with lead equivalences ranging from 1mm to 3.5mm, ranging from small sizes for use in doors up to 2400 x 1200mm panels for windows and x-ray screens for medical and industrial radiation shielding use. <New 2012> Lead glass can now be cut, shaped and reworked using our new water jet facility.  Ideal for cutting circular glass or forming holes for radiation proof glove boxes.

Radiation Shielding Observation Windows -
Radiation protective observation windows for ideal use in a CT / X-ray / Nuclear facilities are manufactured and pre-built in our own workshops to the highest quality available by our experienced qualified craftsmen to offer a guaranteed radiation protection solution.

<New 2012> Polarized lead glass is now available unique to Raybloc allowing restrictive view through two windows. Ideal for use in dual control rooms to restrict view between exam rooms giving complete patient to patient privacy, yet still allowing the patient to see the operator in the control room.
